In February it found job openings nationwide increased 4.6% and were up 25.8% compared to the same time last year.Nearly all industries posted growth in job openings (17 out of 18 industries), with legal (29.1%) and travel (20.3%) showing the largest gains.Based on our data, job seekers who have or who can acquire the required skill sets have a growing set of opportunities for employment. We are optimistic about the employment market heading into spring, said James Beriker, CEO of Simply Hired.Overall job openings increased in 17 out of 18 industries in February 2014.Nearly all occupation categories (20 out of 23) experienced growth in job openings with building and groundskeeper (16.6%) and military personnel (15.8%) roles showing the largest gains. Healthcarecontinued to be thetop posting industry with more than one-thi rd of jobs coming from healthcare-related companies.
